Francesca Tandoi (Italy) & Amit Friedman Trio
The Italian pianist and singer, Francesca Tandoi, who has been praised by music critics as a world-class jazz pianist and singer, has also been defined as “an explosion of swing, strong and sophisticated, and blessed with a beautiful singing voice full of warmth and sensuality”.
She will perform with one of the leading musicians in the Israeli jazz scene and winner of the “Prime Minister’s Prize for Jazz Composition”, the saxophonist and composer Amit Friedman. Together they will be performing the songs of Cole Porter, one of the greatest love song writers of all time.
Cole Porter was perhaps the greatest love song writer of all time, with hits such as ‘Let’s Do It’, ‘Anything Goes’, ‘I Love Paris’, ‘Begin the Beguine’, ‘I Am in Love’. All of these and many more have already been recognized as the most played and best recognized jazz songs and jazz music.
Francesca Tandoi, in a special production created just for the “Hot Jazz” series, will bring her own special interpretations to each and every song.

She performs regularly at jazz festivals and clubs around the world, including North Sea Jazz, Umbria Jazz, Breda Jazz, and many others in the USA, Indonesia, India, Japan, South Africa, Russia and throughout Europe. She has so far recorded 6 solo albums and over 20 albums as an accompanist, including four with the legendary saxophonist Scott Hamilton.
