From Havana to Rio – October 25th – November 1st, 2025

A dizzying international show in the framework of the Hot Jazz series. An electrifying combination of Brazilian charm with Latin rhythm and a jazzy feeling, an evening that connects two musical capitals – Rio de Janeiro and Havana.

Five international artists, three continents, one exciting and unforgettable show.

The celebrated Brazilian singer Anna Setton brings to the stage the best of Bossa Nova and Samba – with timeless songs such as ‘Desafinado Chega de Saudade’, ‘Nature Boy’, ‘Águas de Março Orcovado’ and ‘O Barquinho’ – in a very personal and tender interpretation that melts the heart.

She will appear together with the virtuoso Cuban pianist Chuchito Valdés, who echoes the Son and Danzón rhythms with mythological pieces such as ‘El Manisero’, ‘Guantanamera’, ‘Chan Chan’ and ‘Bilongo’, in a combination of modern and innovative Cuban jazz.

The French saxophonist Benjamin Petit, a true virtuoso, knows how to tell a “musical story”, that connects the sounds of Paris, Havana and Rio – through a modern and melodic jazz approach.

Together with them will appear Fernando Knopf (electric bass) and Israel Biton (drums and percussion) – both of them among the most prominent jazz players in the Latin Scene of Israel.

This is a show full of rhythmic, rooted and exciting celebration, which brings the soft Brazilian singing and the Cuban passion together in a powerful jazz composition.
