They were both innovators – Louis “invented” the swing style, Frank Sinatra -“invented” the popular style that grew out of jazz – and moved towards the world of Cinema, Musicals and Pop. Each of them spread the word in their own way. One with his rough and special voice and the other with his sweet and personal voice.
‘Moonlight In Vermont’, ‘New York New York’ and ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ amongst Sinatra’s hits will star along with ‘What a Wonderful World’, ‘Mac the Knife’, and ‘Hello Dolly’ from Armstrong.
