The French jazz of all time – May 30th – June 5th, 2026

Anna Stevens & The Legrand Legacy Band (Paris)

Legrand Legacy Band combines French chanson with a unique alchemy of jazz: from Montand to Gainsbourg, from Legrand to Terna, via Piaf to Wassenaar, the band reinvents the classics in a bold and sensitive musical dialogue. An international ensemble composed of musicians of an exceptional level.

The energetic singer Anna Stevens has long been fascinated by the swing of the 1930’s and 40’s and has been singing and increasing her repertoire for about a decade. Together with the pianist, arranger and conductor Galaad Moutoz, she has appeared in France and around the world in various formations, and currently leads a quintet of international musicians. She has created successful shows for both adults and children including ‘Swing Celebration’ which delights audiences with its charisma and her spectacular voice.

The Legrand Legacy Band combines French chanson with a unique style of jazz: from Montagne to Gainsbourg, from Legrand to Terna, through Piaf and Aznavour, the band reinvents the classics in a bold and sensitive musical dialogue. The Sextet are an international ensemble that consists of musicians of an exceptional level, such as the Swedish Björn Ingelstam, an excellent trumpeter and singer.

Between the boundaries of respect for traditions and freedom of interpretation, the band crosses musical and geographical borders, and offers a musical journey where the French song reinvents itself in all its forms, always alive, and always vibrant.  In the program we will hear songs by Michel Legrand, Edith Piaf, Yves Montant, Barbara, Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg and others.

Not to be missed, a show of exciting nostalgia with a contemporary twist!
