The Mythological Dixieland Seven from Paris – November 22nd – 29th, 2025

Les Haricots Rouges (Paris)

Les Haricots Rouges is a French New Orleans and Dixie style jazz band. In 2011, the band passed the one million albums-sold mark worldwide with over fifty years of activity. The band was founded in 1963 by friends who together attended the Rodin High School in Paris.

They appeared in a distinctive outfit of red jackets and cream pants, and recorded dozens of singles and studio albums and also gave live performances. In France, they became a “cult” band that incorporated satirical humor into their jazz shows. In the late 1960s, they gained enormous popularity, when they appeared at the Olympia Hall in Paris as a warm-up act for bands such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and singers such as Jacques Brel.

In 2013, the album ‘French Melodies’ was released on the occasion of their 50th anniversary celebrations, and was produced by Frémeaux et Associés. Their latest album, ‘Meilleurs Espoirs Masculins’, was released in 2020 and features remakes of well-known music from famous movies.
