Hallelujah, Ray Charles

Uros Peric & LadyJazz Trio

From the moment we heard Uros Peric at the Ascona Jazz Festival, we had no doubt: Peric is an amazing artist with a larger than life voice, full of expression. His voice is very similar to that of Ray Charles, and he has dedicated some of his career to honoring him.

Ray’s genius has been a huge inspiration to Uros’ musical style, as well as many others, including: Nat King Cole, Quincy Jones, Errol Garner and Billie Holiday.

Uros Peric brings an authentic Blues style to his piano playing, and is compared to the great Gene Harris. He has collaborated with musicians such as the Golden Gate Quartet, Sheila Raye Charles, and Big Bands around the world. He has performed at numerous jazz festivals, such as Ascona, Monterey, Copenhagen and more.

He will be accompanied by the LadyJazz Trio from Amsterdam.
